Brand & Product Development (link)

Defined brand identity, messaging, and UX for Swash’s app and website from scratch. Including creation and refinement over time to ensure smooth flows and friendly UX with every new feature, integrating feedback from the community, and ensuring compliance to data regulations and store requirements. Oversaw cross-functional teams (design, dev, marketing) to align product features with user and business needs.

Swash Compute (link)

Led positioning and go-to-market for Swash’s developer-facing product app and website. Designed campaigns to attract data scientists, foster integrations, and grow ecosystem adoption. Swash Compute is one branch of many within Swash's ecosystem that encourages different kinds of stakeholders to build upon Swash's technology stack and to support innovation.

Swash Technical Whitepaper (link)

Worked with the technical team to co-author Swash’s whitepaper to communicate blockchain-based data ownership models to developers, investors, and partners. I prioritised ensuring that the document showcases Swash's expertise without being too technical in order to appeal to various stakeholders. I also reworked it as a blog which functioned as an easily-accessible reference document for all other social media and PR content. This whitepaper - combined with the investor-focused pitch deck I made - is what made it possible for our fundraising round to surpass our expectations by 300%.

Bootstrapping to $19m+ in 4 months

Designed and executed a fundraising campaign that exceeded targets by 300%. Combined narrative storytelling, community growth and mailing list activation, and partner outreach to drive global investor interest. Utilised existing PR relationships to drive credibility and attention and represented Swash on AMAs and other community-facing interviews to connect and improve understanding of Swash's ecosystem model and tokenomics.

Community & Growth Marketing Campaigns

Grew Swash's user base from <1,000 to 250,000+ in under a year (now sitting at 1m~ on web and 50k on mobile), and scaled community channels (mailing list to 45K+ within 3 months and now around 1m subscribers, X to 150K+). Designed campaigns blending product updates, storytelling, and social engagement using conventional and guerrilla marketing tactics.

Business Development & Partnerships

Actively onboarded, maintained and grew client leads since 2022, bringing in multiple 6 figure revenue for the business year-on-year. Built a pipeline of 30+ strategic leads, securing 21 founding partners for Swash, including major Web3 companies and leading data research entities. Managed long-term relationships and established Swash in enterprise and ecosystem contexts.

Thought Leadership & PR

Represented Swash at leadings conferences and panels both online and irl, authored thought leadership content, and secured media coverage in outlets such as Harvard Business Review, Forbes, CoinDesk and the BBC. Established Swash as a trusted voice in the future of data ownership, as seen in research by Mozilla, the World Economic Forum, the EU Commission, and the ODI as an example of a 'bottom-up data institution'.
